I had a wonderful experience with Matthew and his helper, Ella. Scheduling was quick and easy. They were able to come out the next day at the exact time I needed. They showed up on time and were thorough in walking through my property to determine all the junk that needed to be removed, giving me a clear estimate before they began. They removed all the unwanted junk and then even cleaned up by sweeping my garage when they were done. Matthew was warm and friendly, offering me understanding and even a referral to a new contractor; Since much of the junk I needed removed was left by a contractor who had swindled me out of money and abandoned his junk and equipment at my house. Matthew offered a salve to the wound of others' bad behavior. I have nothing but high praise for Matthew and Gig Harbor Junk & Demo. After unsuccessful attempts to donate some furniture to charity, I decided to look locally ( Gig Harbor) for someone to remove several no longer needed items and I saw Matthew's website. I was pleased to note that his company either finds charities to take discarded items or he recycles them before taking them to the landfill. He responded quickly to my online request for a pickup and arrived on time. He and his assistant were able to remove the furniture from the lower level and take it up a hill to his truck in a very efficient manner. He had to remove a sliding screen door as part of the process and re-mounted it and made sure it was functioning properly. I will definitely be using Gig Harbor Junk & Demo in the future! Two thumbs up!!
